Textbooks To Bucks (TBTB) is marketplace that allows people to buy, sell and offer items to each other with a fixed price format TBTB is not directly involved in the transaction between buyers and sellers. As a result, TBTB has no control over the quality, safety, morality or legality of any aspect of the items listed, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of sellers to sell items or the ability of buyers to pay for items. TBTB does not pre-screen users or the content or information provided by users. TBTB cannot ensure that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction.
TBTB cannot guarantee the true identity, age, and nationality of a user. TBTB encourages you to communicate directly with potential transaction partners through the tools available on the Site.
You agree that TBTB is a venue and as such is not responsible or liable for any content, for example: data, text, information, usernames, graphics, images, photographs, profiles, audio, video, items, and links posted by you, other users, or outside parties on TBTB. You use the service at your own risk.
TBTB allows all buyers and sellers to use their PayPal business or premier account to buy or accept payments for any items if they so choose.
There is no charge to list items on TBTB. If you choose to utilize PayPal, you will be charged 12% the sale price of the item and then an additional 3% approximately from PayPal . These are the only fees you will be charged for selling on TBTB.
If you prefer to meet locally and not utilize PayPal you won't be charged a fee but will have no recourse through our site if a dispute arises.
When listing please include as much information as you can and include shipping in your list price.
Refunds and exchanges should be on a case by base basis. Whenever you list an item you should include whether it is available for refund and exchange prior to posting the listing.
TBTB will not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent. TBTB’s stores and processes content on computer servers that are protected by physical as well as technological security.
Keep your password secure. You are fully responsible for all activity, liability and damage resulting from your failure to maintain password confidentiality. You agree to immediately notify TBTB of any unauthorized use of your password or any breach of security. You also agree that TBTB cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your password secure.
Rights of Content
The users themselves retain the right to all text, pictures and other content that they create in the service. The users allow others to utilize the content in accordance with the nature of the service and furthermore allow the service provider to file information and data and make changes that are necessary for the service or the study, however other rights are not transferred from the users, unless specifically otherwise agreed. The responsibility of the content lies with the user, who has produced it to the service. The service provider has the right to remove any material when it deems it necessary.
